The 2025 Golden Globes red carpet was nothing short of a couture carnival, teeming with opulence, innovation, and some bold risks that kept the fashion police (and fans) on their toes. Stars descended in a mix of old Hollywood glamour and future-forward fantasies, making the event as much about making headlines as snagging statues.
Cynthia Erivo stunned in a beautiful black and silver Custom Louis Vuitton gown with a stunning silhouette that was absolutely “Wicked” ;)

Meanwhile, Demi Moore, dazzled in a champagne colored, mermaid cut dress. The champagne color was stunning on her and the asymmetry in the bodice added just the right amount of intrigue to the elegantly beautiful gown.

Selena Gomez, as the icon she is, brought an element of vintage to the ceremony. She looked like Snow White if she lived as the Queen of England in the roaring 1920’s. Her powder blue dress had a beautiful off the shoulder neckline that allowed her White Diamond Tiffany Blue Book necklace to shine. Gomez’s look may have to be my favorite from the night as it radiates poise and elegance and truly was perfect for her. Hey stylist, Erin Walsh, really did a phenomenal job.

The boys showed out as well as Kenny Edwards exhibited a white lettering embellished black suit. The sharp geometric neckline was funky in the simplest of ways and added the perfect amount of Elvis to the red carpet.

Though we saw some amazing understated colors, Melissa McCarthy’s bright pink jumpsuit and cape was a showstopper, or I guess carpet stopper. The jumper was a simple pink, which allowed the oversized ruffled cape to be the star of the moment. Truly, truly stunning

.
And, in no surprise, Anya Taylor-Joy was, is, stays the moment. As a person she exudes elegance and grace, so the simple, silky Dior pink gown was so suiting. She paired the dress with a classy fringed, paisley shawl that was the perfect compliment and gave the look a little bit of that 20’s flare. Similar to Gomez, she also sported a Tiffany necklace to round out the look. Absolutely beautiful.

Not every outfit soared. A few fashion choices landed more "meh" than memorable.Although I love the toast to the Golden part of the globes, Cate Blanchett’s outfit left some to be desired. I feel like the studs across the top were a tad much and that the cut of the dress was a bit outdated.

If one thing’s clear from this year’s Golden Globes, it’s that fashion isn’t just a supporting act—it’s the headliner. From daring experiments to timeless classics, the stars reminded us why this red carpet remains the most glamorous runway of all. Here’s to the fits that slayed, the risks that shocked, and the moments that will inspire our closets (or daydreams) for years to come.
